Collective Action facilitates collaboration between global investors who aim to achieve measurable social and environmental impact as well as financial returns in private markets. By investing as a collective, we can achieve our return and impact objectives and significantly scale, accelerate and professionalise the impact investing ecosystem.
The Collective Action Team
Collective Action is founded by a diverse team of investment professionals from the Netherlands, South Africa, Belgium and the United Kingdom. This team has worked together in the financial industry for decades. It has come together with the belief that our years of experience in both impact and private markets investing, we can play a role in facilitating the change that is needed to bridge the current funding gap between impact investment funds and institutional investors.
Collaboration Platform
Our collaboration platform, MyCelium, supports the ongoing exchange of fund and co-investment deal information and sharing of our research and analysis. The platform contains relevant institutional quality investment opportunities in the impact investing space and enables our members to screen, source, reference, collaborate and discuss potential fund and co-investments.
Focus on investable, relevant and impactful investment themes
By jointly making commitments to specialist private markets’ teams, we can choose to sharply target those investment themes that are most relevant for us, and the positive change and transition needed on our planet. Addressing the problems these themes represent is essential and at the same time the global economic opportunity within these themes is vast.
