Marlene has 25 years experience in the financial industry of which 10 years working with thematic impact investment managers and investors. She is the creative force behind Collective action and founder of XS Investments (2006). She strongly believes the years of financial experience she and the other Collective Action members have in senior positions around the globe serve a purpose: to help accelerate and transform the way institutional investors commit their capital for good. Marlene has worked and studied in more than 7 countries. She has helped investment managers with their professionalisation and is continuing to build bridges between institutional investors, investment managers and  other stakeholders. Previously Marlene worked for Russell Investment Group for 10 years, initially in London, and after she set up and co-headed the Johannesburg office. Marlene holds a MBA, BA.
