Steven is Co-Founder and Partner at Collective Action.
He has 33 years experience in the institutional investment industry.
For the last 15 years, Steven has been working actively with several impact and thematic investment managers, supporting them with their professionalisation and positioning. In Collective Action Steven heads the Nature/Biodiversity team and is a member of the Water & Ocean team. Previously Steven worked at Russell Investments where he was Managing Director Benelux, Scandinavia and Germany, and head of Russell’s Amsterdam office. He started his career in 1993 as an investment consultant working in Belgium (Pragma Consulting) and London (Russell Investments) before moving to Johannesburg in 2000 to head Russell’s institutional business in South Africa. Steven is CFA certified, and holds a MBA from the Xavier Institutie, India.
